North Creek Homes was recommended from someone we respect highly. After meeting Pete and Virginia Bloore, and seeing the quality built into their homes, it was an easy decision to choose them to remodel our newly purchased fixer-upper. This was a major remodel, taken down to the studs; including a 50% increase in square footage.
We knew we would be using quality products throughout our home. It was very important for us to select a builder with experience and a proven track record in high-end homes.
We enjoyed working with Pete and Virginia; they are always friendly and comfortable to be around, yet professional. They are a team who proved early on to be trustworthy and fair in all of our dealings. Their integrity, our comfort in their abilities, and their patience, made this a stress-free experience. We appreciated that they welcomed our involvement in the project. They kept us updated and were reachable by phone, made themselves available to answer any of our questions or concerns.
Our friends and family remark how beautiful our home is and often ask how were our builders able to construct some of the more challenging and special features of our home. Frequent comments are, "Most beautiful kitchen we have ever seen!" and "This looks like something out of Architectural Digest". Pete and Virginia fulfilled our design dreams by working with us and other professionals to take our vision into reality.
We appreciated their "can-do" attitude. We were pleasantly surprised that our 8-foot flat ceiling in our kitchen/nook could be replaced by a barrel-ceiling. When I requested tongue & groove hemlock planks for the 22-foot long barrel-ceiling without any seams, Pete said it might be a challenge to locate quality planks of that length. It required multiple searches and suppliers; however he was successful. This really opened and lit up this space, allowing in more sunlight.
This was a positive experience for us and we would not hesitate to use North Creek Homes again. We were very satisfied with the process as well as the final project. Pete and Virginia obviously enjoy what they do — not only the process of building a house, but delivering beautiful, top-quality custom-built homes for their customers to enjoy for many years.

It is really important when doing custom remodeling to deal with professionals that are not only up-to-date on the latest trends, but thoroughly experienced in the trade. This was our experience with Pete and Virginia Bloore, the owners of North Creek Homes, when we enlarged our closet to include all of the attic space.
While we were concerned with the cosmetics of the project, Pete was making sure that all of the structural changes, load on the floor, wiring, etc. was done correctly to meek code. He suggested and then drew up plans for a dormer which added to the appeal on the outside of the house, let natural light into the room without causing sun damage to clothing and created a better traffic flow. Other suggestions from Virginia to add an ironing area and special lighting made the finished product far better than our original plan.
North Creek Homes inspected and approved every step of the project. It was a quick, stress free remodel on our part. From start to finish, no details were left undone. We would highly recommend anyone contemplating building a new custom home or remodeling their existing home to call on North Creek Homes.
